Last week my wife had a terrible but she couldn't decide to go to see the dentist. On Thursday her face looked swollen and she couldn't stand the pain. What I had to do was to make a call to the dentist's and ask if they might help us. Fortunately, I managed to make an for the next day.
We always go to the same dentist who is a nice woman in her forties. We try to arrange with her to our teeth at regular intervals because we know that it is important to a disease before it becomes serious. However, this time my wife couldn't pluck her courage and we were afraid of the worst possible thing. In particular, we thought she would have to have her tooth taken out.
When my wife went to see the dentist the next day, she was just waiting. She said hello to her poor patient and put her in the chair. When she was preparing for the , my wife looked around. She saw a multi-purpose for cold and warm water, spray or air. She also noticed a suction apparatus which is used for removing excessive from your mouth while the dentist is working. Fortunately, she couldn't see different instruments used for extraction, as they are always kept in a special drawer. If she had seen extraction or a bone chisel she might have run away from what she calls the place of torture.
Then the dentist put on a mask, took a small mirror and asked my wife to open her mouth wide. She winced when the bad tooth was touched. The dentist suggested an to relieve the pain. She also recommended taking an X-ray of the bad tooth just to ensure correct diagnosis and . As soon as the picture was ready, she informed my wife that she needed a but first of all she had to put some cure inside. There was no need to extract the tooth.
My wife was as happy as a lark. She will have to pay another visit soon, though.
